For Soil and Water Conservation
ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Reese Wamsley for Soil and Water Conservation

MY ROOTS
Reese was born in Texas, where his love for nature started with the Cub Scouts. When his family moved to Tennessee, he continued through the Boy Scouts and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout by leading a project to revitalize the historic slave quarter outside exhibit near the home of President Andrew Jackson.

Reese earned his degree from Penn State in Architectural Engineering with a focus in Project Management. Afterwards he lived first in Pittsburgh, PA then New Bern, NC before deciding that Wake County was to be his home. Professionally, Reese helped build Schools, Apartments, a Biomedical Facility, and renovate some of Eastern North Carolina's Hospital facilities. Throughout these projects, wastewater and storm water management are always topics of discussion on how to best solve their challenges.

He currently works in the fitness industry bringing people together with plans to lead healthier and longer lives.
A DEDICATED JOURNEY
As a Boy Scout and volunteer at many clean-ups and educational events, Reese cultivated a foundation for conservation of our natural world at an early age. From Hiking through the Appalachian trail, to canoeing down rivers, the health of the natural world is what Reese cherishes most.

As our country and community grow, Reese is determined to ensure that clean water and healthy food is available for generations to come.
A DEDICATED JOURNEY
At home Reese pursues many hobbies. He enjoys cultivating his herb garden as well as transforming sections of his lawn to native plantings to encourage native wildlife to thrive. He loves to read, create music, cook the best meals, play board games and video games with his friends, and make sure his cat lives the best life.
MISSION & VISION
Preserving Nature, Empowering Communities
At the heart of my mission is the fusion of equality and opportunity, where every individual is empowered to take part in the conservation of our natural resources. By bridging the gap between awareness and action, I strive to create a world where sustainability is not just a choice, but a way of life. Join me in this transformative journey towards a greener, more equitable future.
